The Love That Binds

A small girl tugged on a young man’s pant leg, looking up at him with deep eyes of brown. She put her hands in the air, wanting to be held, to tired to walk anymore in the pitch black of night. The man sighed. He was not truly a man per say, he was a demon, a youki. His long white hair waved back and forth in the slight breeze that had started.

His pointed ears were hardly noticeable from afar, nor were his sharp fangs or bronze cat-like eyes. He looked at her tired face and felt pity in his heart, a sentiment he was not used to. You see a youki is not supposed to feel. They are not supposed to love a small, mute, black haired child. He kneeled down, and put his arm gently around her waist, lifting her up to his large cream-colored fluffy tail that was wound about his shoulder.

She nuzzled her head into it, as she always did, loving the soft feel of it on her face. He almost smiled. He was careful not to impale her on the sharp spikes that protruded from his sheik black chest plate. It would have been much easier to hold her in two arms, but Sesshoumaru could not. He only had one.

It was because of his brother, that bastard Inuyasha that he only had one arm. He thought with hatred about his half demon brother Inuyasha, who cut of his arm with the sword Tetsusaiga. Sesshoumaru had wanted the Tetsusaiga, made from his own father’s fang, instead of the wretched Tenseiga he carried, which could only bring life, not death. But, it had been useful once, he thought to himself as he looked down at Rin, cuddled in the soft fur of his tail, it had saved her. Why did I save her? This was a question he did not know the answer to.

Even in his long life he had not known the answer. Youki’s hated all humans. They were weak and pitiful beings, having a short lifespan, and being extremely weak. But for some reason, she was different to him. He tread down the road, his boots softly thumping on the ground. He thought back to when he had almost been killed.

That was when Rin had come. She brought him food and water, but he knocked it away. She still brought more the next day; even though he realized by the bruises and cuts upon her that she must have stolen it. But one day, when he began to feel better, she did not come back. Sesshoumaru and his demon servant Jakken (who deeply resembled a frog) smelled blood.

They followed it and came upon Rin, who was killed by vicious wolves. He turned to leave, but for some reason, he did not. He drew forth his cursed sword the Tenseiga, the Sword of Life, and brought her back. You couldn’t even tell he had ever been injured. You also wouldn’t know he only had one arm, which Inuyasha cut off, as his long white sleeves decorated with red print and flower like objects covered them.

::Was it okay so far? Should I write more for it, or no?::

Er..I hate to say it, but it's a long recap...It has no plot BUT it's well written, VERY WELL WRITTEN!

You silly, it is not done. I was wondering if I should write more, it is not into the plot yet. That is just for people who have not seen this season yet.
